I've spent years on the inside of the annuity industry. I can also sit on your side of the table.
I've spent years as an annuity broker and consultant, advising financial professionals on which annuities fit their clients and which don't. I see every carrier's rate sheet, every contract, and every commission schedule as they come out. I know which products are built for the person buying them and which are built for the person selling them.
Now I'm bringing that experience directly to individuals who want a true independent specialist, someone who isn't tied to one company's shelf and has nothing to gain from steering you toward a product that doesn't fit.
That's the perspective I bring when someone asks me whether an annuity makes sense for part of their retirement savings. Sometimes it does. Often it doesn't, and I'll tell you that too. There's no product I'm required to recommend and no quota I need to hit.
What a first conversation looks like
Fifteen minutes on the phone, and mostly I listen. Tell me about where you are in life, what retirement looks like for you, and what you're trying to get right. Maybe someone has recommended an annuity and you'd like a second opinion. Maybe you have a specific question about one you already own. Maybe you're just curious whether any of this applies to you.
You don't need to bring numbers or paperwork. It's a conversation to get acquainted, and if there's something worth looking at further, we'll both know it by the end of the call.
